About Us

KYEHA, formerly the Kentucky Association of Milk, Food and Environmental Sanitarians (KAMFES), originated in 1964.

However, in 2015, KAMFES Board adopted the new name “Kentucky Environmental Health Association” (KYEHA) and developed affiliation with the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA).

Today, KYEHA remains the largest Environmental Health organization in Kentucky with approximately 400 members consisting of Regulators (local, state, federal), Industry professionals, Universities (students, educators, etc) and consumers.
